Logan Oscar Beam

Logan O. Beam, 87, Moses Lake resident, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family June 10, 2009, at Columbia Crest in Moses Lake.

Logan was born on July 5, 1922, to the late Carse and Buelah Beam in American Falls, Idaho.

He served in the Air Force during World War ll and the Korean War. He married Patsy Tenente on Oct 25, 1944, in Isleton, Calif. They made their home in Isleton until moving to Moses Lake in 1960, where Logan was the manager of the Chamber of Commerce for 10 years. He worked for the Port of Moses Lake and then relocated to Oregon for a private family business. Upon return to Moses Lake in 1986 for retirement, Logan worked at Samaritan Hospital.

Logan was an avid sports enthusiast. He attended all sports events in and out of town. Logan also enjoyed fishing.

Logan and Patsy have called the Hearthstone Inn their home for the past 4 years.

He is survived by his loving wife Patsy of Moses Lake, daughter LaDawn and son in law Mike Garwood of Moses Lake, son Logan of Wenatchee. grandaughter Michelle Mercier and her children Hunter and Camdyn.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 16, at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic church.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
