Kirk Leon Johnson

Kirk Leon Johnson, 68, longtime Moses Lake resident, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2009, at his home.

Arrangements are in care of Kayser’s Chapel and Crematory, Moses Lake. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2009, at the Moses Lake Immanuel Lutheran Church. Please leave a note for the family or sign the guest book at www.kayserschapel.com

Kirk was born on Feb. 15, 1941, in Tacoma, Wash., to Vernon and Robina Johnson. He was raised and educated in Tacoma. He moved to Moses Lake in 1971 and began working for Carnation, Nestle Company for 25 years before retiring.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline Johnson, Moses Lake; five children, Kenneth Stewart, Steven Stewart, Wanda Stewart, Heather Topping, and Patricia Dorrity; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He will be sorely missed by friends and family.
