Business after Hours is Thursday at airport

MOSES LAKE — To celebrate the restart of air service, the Moses Lake Chamber of Commerce is holding its monthly Business after Hours event at the Grant County International Airport.

The event is usually held for chamber members, but will be open to the rest of the public from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, said Debbie Doran-Martinez, the chamber’s executive director.

It takes the whole community to raise awareness and excitement for air service, she explained.

“It’s really good for us,” she said.

Already, about 220 people are expected to attend the event, she said.

The estimate includes chamber members and airline travel bank partners, who prepaid for airline tickets.
