Michael Paul Pratt

Michael Paul Pratt, 59, passed away peacefully at his home in Ellensburg on May 28, 2009.

Mike was born on April 9, 1950, in Ellensburg, to Orie and Darlene Pratt. He attended local schools in Ellensburg and graduated in 1969.

When Mike was younger, he enjoyed jeeping in the hills of Naneum.

Mike married Bette Bradshaw in 1972 and they had two children, Cody and Cori.

Mike spent most of his adult life selling farm equipment in Kittitas County and the Columbia Basin. He was very dedicated to helping his customers in any way they needed.

Mike is survived by his two children, Cody of Ellensburg and Cori (Mike) Henry of Redmond; his brothers Kent (Karen) Pratt of Royal City; Jim (Jackie) Pratt of Ellensburg; sister Judy Whitmer of Sumner; twin sister Betsy Raap of Bellevue, numerous nieces and nephews, and his lifelong friend Cathy Bonjorni.

He was preceded in death by his parents Orie and Darlene and his best friend Hal Wippel.

A celebration of life is planed for June 13 at 2 p.m., at the American Legion in Ellensburg. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Mike’s name to the American Cancer Society (www.acs.com) or Hospice Friends of Ellensburg, 302 E. Second Ave., Ellensburg, WA 98926.
