Washington Spirit to hold tryouts

TRI-CITIES — The Washington Spirit softball program will hold tryouts for the fall 2009 and summer 2010 seasons next month in Tri-Cities, Wash.

The Washington Spirit is a non-profit youth softball team offering elite high school softball players an opportunity to play softball at a competitive level.

The Washington Spirit is attempting to field teams of the best softball players in Eastern Washington.

The tryouts will begin Aug. 8 and conclude Aug. 9 in the Tri-Cities.
