Viola Cockshott

Services were held June 26, 2009, for Viola (Vi) Cockshott, 68, a former resident of Moses Lake, who died June 22 at her home in Arroyo Grande after a valiant battle against liver cancer.

She was the wife of Bill Cockshott, a former managing editor of the Columbia Basin Herald when they lived in Moses Lake. A retired foreign language teacher, she is survived by Bill, her daughter Daphne Manos of Arroyo Grande and grandsons Zachary and Matthew; her son Randall of Pleasant Hill, Calif., and granddaughters Talia and Alexandra, as well as siblings in California, Texas and Florida.
