Steven Todd Worley

| July 7, 2009 9:00 PM

Steven Todd Worley, 44, formerly of Rotonda West, Fla., passed away to our Lord on June 20, 2009, in Moses Lake.

He is survived by his daughter, Shelby, 13, and son, Dalton, 5 of Indianapolis, Ind.; parents, Gail and Ken Worley of Rotonda West, Fla.; brother, Scott (Annette, Kyler, Cortlyn), and sisters, Stacey Ledgerwood (Jeff), and Shelley Fausel (Rick, Celeste, Hailey) all of Tampa, Fla. He also leaves behind many beloved relatives and friends.

Steve was born Dec. 13, 1964, in Honolulu, Hawaii, raised in Rotonda West and graduated from Lemon Bay High School in 1983. After high school, he qualified as a certified electrician and relocated with his family to the Indianapolis area. It was here that Steve discovered his green thumb and he delighted in gardening and working with his fruit trees. Employment opportunities took him to Washington in early 2008, where he was blessed with outstanding friendships and fishing trips with his coworkers. The biggest joy in Steve’s life, by far, was his two children and he treasured every moment that he spent with them.

Although Steve will be sorely missed, his memory will live on forever in those who loved him.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 13, at 10 a.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Grove City, Fla.

In lieu of flowers, an educational fund will be established for Shelby and Dalton. Please contact Gail and Ken Worley for details.
