Rufus Woods Lake limit corrected

EPHRATA — After confusion about catch limits among anglers at Rufus Woods Lake, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife announced last week the catch limit for trout and kokanee is two fish.

The rule change was not listed in the fishing rules pamphlet and anglers were advised to contact the Fish and Wildlife North Central Region office in Ephrata for information.

According to a press release from Fish and Wildlife Eastern Washington Public Information Officer  Madonna Luers, the change was made to be consistent with Colville Confederated Tribes regulations and the Fish and Wildlife cooperative agreement.
