Moses Lake finishes second

EPHRATA — The Moses Lake 14-year-old Babe Ruth League All-Star team wrapped up the district tournament in Ephrata over the weekend with a second-place finish.
The Moses Lake All-Star team battled through the tournament which began July 1 and concluded July 4.
Following the second-place finish at the district tournament, the Moses Lake All-Star team earned a spot at the Washington state tournament to be held in Port Angeles, Wash., July 21 through July 27.
The state tournament begins in approximately two weeks and Moses Lake All-Star team manager Hector Zavala said his team played great at the district tournament.
The Moses Lake All-Star team is currently raising funds to help with travel expenses and accommodations at the state tournament.
