Layne Severns

Layne Severns, 51 of Coeur d’Alene, went home to his heavenly father surrounded by his loving family following a brief illness.

He is survived by his wife Geri of Coeur d’Alene, a son Levi and Amanda of Merced, Calif., his father Larry and Sharon Severns of Kuna, Idaho, his mother LaVonne and Richard Kennedy of Moses Lake, three brothers, Rick and Sue Severns, Jay and Tonya Severns of Moses Lake, Frank and Leah Dickerson of Blaine, Wash., and a sister Charla and Dave Parnham of Elma, Wash., one granddaughter Delaney Severns of Merced, Calif., several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by several close friends, Bill Padilla of Yuma, Ariz., Mark Wood of Athol, Idaho, and Mike Gallager of Seattle.

Layne enjoyed hunting trips with his father and brothers, fishing trips with his brother in law Dave and his family and friends at any opportunity. He also enjoyed yard work, watching movies, and vacationing with his wife and family in Mexico. He was loved and will be missed by his family and many friends.
