MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake High School boys swim and dive team topped Davis and Eisenhower Tuesday afternoon to remain perfect in Eastern Washington Swim and Dive League competition.

The Chiefs won the first event of the meet when the 200-yard medley relay team of Colby Byington, Kyle Hickman, Cameron Goodrich and Tamas Toth swam to victory. Moses Lake’s Sebastian Weber won the 200-yard freestyle event and Evan McFarland won the 200-yard individual medley for the Chiefs. Moses Lake’s Marshall Goodrich won the 500-yard freestyle.

Moses Lake had two state-qualifying events Tuesday afternoon when Reuben Huddleston, Weber, Reeder and Goodrich set state provisional marks in both the 200-yard and 400-yard relays.

The Chiefs’ victory Tuesday sets up an important meet Thursday afternoon with the Richland Bombers at Moses Lake High School.

Both the Chiefs and the Bombers are undefeated in Eastern Washington Swim and Dive League competition.

League supremacy is on the line Thursday when the Chiefs host the Bombers at the Moses Lake High School pool at 4 p.m.
