Timothy D. Day, 67, born Dec. 7, 1941, in Sisters, Ore., passed away Jan. 15, 2009, in Spokane.

Graduating from Spray (Ore.)High School in 1959, Tim immediately joined the Navy and was one of our first Vietnam era vets. After retiring from Motel Six Corporation, where he was a vice president in charge of new construction, he enjoyed years as a successful businessman in Arizona. His last successful venture was owner of the Sand Bar in Moses Lake.

Tim was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying horseback riding, hunting and fishing. Father to Tamra, Steven, Charles and Mary Jo, seven grandchildren and brother of Grant and Deedee.

His sister Cheryl, mother Ella and father Stanley predeceased him.

Memorial services will be held at a future date.
