Sportsmen Show begins today

PASCO, Wash. — The 16th Annual Tri-Cities Sportsmen Show opened today at Pasco’s Trade, Recreation and Agricultural Center.

The Tri-Cities Sportsmen Show is the first outdoor show of the year for the Columbia Basin.

The TRAC Arena will be filled with numerous activities and demonstrations including the Outdoor Cooking Camp with Cee Dub Welch, a three-dimensional archery range and a fly-casting pool for professional demonstrations and clinics.

The 2009 Tri-Cities Sportsmen Show will also feature the Kids’ Fishing Pond. This year’s event will again feature the Lunker Lake hole with one fish marked for each cash prize of $100, $50 and $25.

The 16th annual event will continue through Sunday and parking is free at the TRAC. Admission for the show is $7 for adults, $3.50 for children 6-12 and children younger than 6 are free.

Door prizes will be given away each day to the first 150 entrants. Doors open Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m.
