MOSES LAKE — A Global Positioning System (GPS) led to the discovery of a 67-year-old Idaho man who died in his semitruck at a truck stop on East Kittelson Road in Moses Lake Tuesday morning.
The Moses Lake police reported he died of natural causes.
Officers found the man’s body lying in a bunk inside the semitruck while conducting a welfare check on the driver, according to the police on Monday.
D & D Transportation, a trucking company associated with the semitruck, reported it was sitting in the same location for three days, according to a GPS navigation system the company uses to track shipments.
Company officials in Idaho told police they were concerned when the truck was not on route for delivery, according to police.
