Christopher John Murphy

Christopher John Murphy passed away Dec. 9, 2008.

Chris was born to Joseph C. Murphy (deceased) and Nancy L. Murphy in McHenry, Ill on March 28, 1965.

Next, the family lived in Denver, Colo., for seven years, then settled in Federal Way, Wash., in 1980, where he attended Nautilus Elementary School and Seattle Christian Junior High. He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Des Moines, Wash., in 1983 and from Big Bend Community College Flight School, Moses Lake, in 1989, where he earned his pilot’s license.

Chris is remembered for his gifts of unending love to all his family, friends and less fortunate people. Now Chris is blessed by God’s grace and eternal life with Him. Chris prays for each of us in our earthly life, and invites all to join him in his eternal sacred, joyous life.

Chris is survived by his mother Nancy, brother Patrick (Marilyn), sister Mary (Kesselring) and brother Matthew. Also nieces and nephews, Colt, Quinn and Reilly Kesselring; Samuel, Madison and Grace Murphy; Cole and Drew Murphy.

In his early years Chris enjoyed football, baseball and swim teams with siblings and many friends. Later he discovered golf. He was an avid player for the rest of his life.

Mass was held Saturday, Jan. 10 at St Theresa’s Catholic Church in Federal Way, Wash.
