MOSES LAKE — The Lady Chiefs of Moses Lake took on the visiting Sunnyside Grizzlies in a non-league bowling contest at Lake Bowl Thursday afternoon.

The Chiefs are in a four-way tie for fourth place in the Central Washington High School Bowling League with Wenatchee, Davis and West Valley.

The match up was a good tune up for upcoming league play Moses Lake head coach Billy Brice said.

“We’ve got some big match ups ahead of us,” Brice said. “We could lose one of our remaining matches and still be in the running.”

Thursday’s contest with Sunnyside saw Moses Lake sophomore Shanice Brice lead all bowlers in scoring. Shanice Brice scored 225 in the first game and she tallied 193 in game two.

Moses Lake defeated Sunnyside 870-607 in game one and 856-607 of game two.

The Lady Chiefs won both Baker games 187-160 in the third game and 210-133 in the final game of the day.

Following closely to Shanice Brice was Kristal Beamish of Moses Lake. Beamish finished the contest with a pair of 189 games.

The Chiefs have three weeks left in league play before the playoffs begin.
