Charlotte Sabina Heaverlo

| January 2, 2009 8:00 PM

Charlotte Sabina Heaverlo was born on Feb. 7, 1923, in Hague, N.D. She was the daughter of Joe and Johanna Miller. Our mom finally crossed the finish line on Dec. 28, 2008, after many years living in the Columbia Basin and Kittitas Valley.

Charlotte enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing bridge, canning tomatoes, traveling with her friends and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed watching baseball and football games, horse racing, and other sporting events.

She’s finally reunited with her husband, Bill, sons Jeff and Monte, daughters Judy and Linda, her parents and siblings. She left behind a multitude of family members and friends, far too many to mention, but you know who you are and how much you meant to her. As per her request, there will be no funeral, but the next time someone orders an Irish Bushmills Whiskey, please think of her.

Coming down the home stretch, numerous people have helped to cheer her on the various furlongs. Therefore, we’d like to give a special thanks to the following: Moses Lake EMTs, fire and police departments, emergency room personnel at Samaritan Hospital, doctors Dan Canfield, John Wheaton, Michael Graham and staff, Sacred Heart Medical Center’s cardiac unit, Monroe House and SunBridge staffs, Christian O’Shea and PT staff, Pioneer Medical Center Pharmacy, and many other friends and acquaintances that supported her along the way. In lieu of any gifts or flowers, we suggest donations to either the Moses Lake fire or police departments, as Charlotte truly appreciated all they did for her.

Arrangements are in care of Kayser’s Chapel and Crematory, Moses Lake.

Please sign the guestbook or leave a note for the family at www.kayserschapel.com.
