He was born to Harden Olden and Delsa Wright Lybbert in Ellensburg, Wash., on March 14, 1942. He graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1960, where he enjoyed wrestling, football, geometry and drafting, and attended early morning seminary. In October 1961, he was called and set apart as a missionary in the Eastern Atlantic States Mission for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints, serving mostly in Pennsylvania teaching the gospel of Christ. “This was one of my best experiences in my life … ”

Clifford was married and sealed to his eternal companion Melodie Conrad in the Cardston Alberta Temple on March 22, 1966. They moved to Spokane and started his family and life. Cliff enjoyed working on a multitude of projects, remodeling, selling real estate, starting businesses and staying active in church service. His greatest joy came from his family.

He moved to Port Orchard in 2002 where he, with the help of the Lord, planned and built a “grand” home overlooking the Seattle skyline and Mount Rainier. In 2007 Cliff was diagnosed with Mesothelioma.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, two sons Michael and Bradley, two grandsons Johnathan and David. He is survived by wife Melodie, children Marci (Mitch) Alderman, Tami (Russell) Dirks, Kathy (Richard) Russell, Barbi (Duane) Baumann, Sarah (Chris) Jones, Diana (Kris) Jones, Eric (Nicole) Lybbert, Randy Lybbert and 20 grandchildren.
