He was born Dec. 26, 1984, to Lisa and Francisco “Paco” Renteria of Royal City. He spent his entire life in Royal City, attending Royal schools grades kindergarten through 12. He was a 2004 Royal High graduate and a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, being confirmed there in 2002 with many of his classmates. He played on the Royal High School football team when they went to state and won. It was a great time for him. High school was hard for him, but he persevered and received his diploma because he knew how important it was to achieve.
Emilio was a gentle soul who was giving and loving, always smiling and very helpful to his family. He enjoyed fishing and working in the area. He was employed at Saddle Mountain Supply in Royal City until just recently.
Emilio is survived by his parents Lisa and Francisco “Paco” Renteria, and Joaquin and Elfega Meza; maternal grandparents Gloria Medrano and Joe Martinez and paternal grandmother Engracia Sevilla; siblings Emily and Valerie Renteria, Joaquin Jr., Neyra, Gladys and Mirelli Meza; niece Ebony and nephew Isaiah, all of Royal City and numerous aunts and uncles. He will especially be missed by his uncle Mario, who was his best friend.
