Dolores Ryan

Dolores Ryan passed away the morning of Feb. 18, 2009.

She was born in Star City, Saskatchewan, Canada, on March 12, 1921. She lived in Spokane, Coulee Dam, Sunnyside and then the last 52 years in Moses Lake.

All of her life, her jobs revolved around working to help other people. The last few were the Girls Job Corp, adult education, teachers aide and finally caregiver to her husband of 62 years, Clarence. She will always be remembered by her sense of humor and her warm smile. She loved flowers and birds. She was a member of the local and national Audubon Society for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Banks of Elk, Wash.; son, Larry Ryan, of Kirkland, Wash.; sister, Janice Fitch, of Spokane; granddaughter, Heide Hudson of Sammamish, Wash.; granddaughter Lisa Smith of Snohomish, Wash.; four great-grandchildren and numerous relatives in the U.S. and Canada.

She was a wonderful mom and a dear friend to many. She will be missed by all.
