Sealed bids will be received by the Public Utility District No. 2 of Grant County at 15655 Wanapum Village Lane SW, Beverly, Washington 99321 until 2:00 P.M., on March 11, 2009 for the 2009 Helicopter Transport Of Juvenile Salmonids In Tanks as more fully described in Contact Documents 430-2775. All interested bidders must attend the Mandatory Site visit on February 26, 2009.

On the above date, the Bids will be opened and read aloud at the District's Hydro Administration Offices located at 15655 Wanapum Village Lane SW, Beverly, Washington 99321. All bids shall be subject to and shall comply with the "Instructions to Bidders" contained in the Contract Documents, copies of which are available at our Ebid site www.ebidexchange.com/gcpud. When reaching this site you will need to register as a new vendor if you are not already on our electronic vendor system.

SEPA DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE

The State of Washington Department of Ecology has received a General Order application and a State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) checklist from Columbia Basin Sandblasting & Painting for an existing automobile repair and refinishing shop located at 3481 Lasco Lane, Moses Lake in Grant County. Columbia Basin Sandblasting has requested coverage under General Order of Approval for Automobile Repair and Refinishing Shops No. 08-AQG-001. Ecology is the SEPA lead agency for this project and has determined under Chapter 197-11 WAC that it will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. A DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE (DNS) has been issued for the project on February 9, 2009. Copies of the DNS and Environmental Checklist are available for public review upon request at the Ecology Eastern Regional Office, 4601 North Monroe Street, Spokane 99205-1295. The public is invited to comment on the project proposal by submitting written comments postmarked within 14 days of this notice to Gregory Flibbert at the above Ecology address. A public hearing may be held if there is significant public interest in the proposed project.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Grant County Port District No. 6 (Port of Wilson Creek) has from time to time various needs in all trades; these may include but are not limited to electrical, carpentry, plumbing, building, excavating, water/sewer, etc. The port desires to expand the General Small Works/Limited Works Rosters as provided in RCW 39.04, port policy and RCW 39.12 [Prevailing Wage Rates]. Responsible contractors interested in providing services to the port should submit such request, including current record copies of any applicable licenses, certifications, registrations, bonding, insurance or other appropriate matters. Responsible contractors can be added to the rosters at any time upon such request, Limited Works Roster listing are good for two years from date of entry. Responsible contractors shall be added to the rosters at any time that they submit a written request and necessary records.
