Samaritan Healthcare CEO resigns

MOSES LAKE — Samaritan Healthcare CEO John White announced he accepted a new position in Hawaii.
White served in his position at the hospital for the past four years, according to Vice President of Planning and Development Scott Campbell.
White plans to start a new position, at North Hawaii Community Hospital in Waimea, in mid-April.
White is on vacation until next week and unavailable for comment.
“We are very happy for John and his family as he pursues this excellent opportunity,” stated Samaritan Board of Commissioners President Mike Bolander. “We are confident that with the team that has been built and the plans in place that Samaritan will continue on a positive track.”
Bolander thanked White for the contributions he made to health care in the area.
The board plans to look for a replacement CEO immediately.
“Samaritan is a strong organization with a track record of success,” Bolander noted. “We are confident that we will find a qualified candidate to fill this critical role.”
