Rebecca Ellen Phillips

| February 5, 2009 8:00 PM

Rebecca was called back in the service of her lord on Feb. 2, 2009.

“Becky” was born to Perman McKee and Doris May Shriner on Sept. 18, 1943, in Tacoma, Wash. She was then adopted by her grandparents after her parents divorced and her mother passed away. She married the love of her life, Cecil L. Phillips, in Coeur d’Alene in 1972. They then moved to Moses Lake. Cecil worked as a piano tuner and Becky was his driver and aide. They were members of the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Cecil passed away in 1989 and she greatly mourned his death. She was converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a member for several years. She recently lived in Sunbridge Care and Rehab Center on Nelson Road.

She is survived by family members in Tacoma, Wash., in Texas and friends in Moses Lake.

Memorial services conducted by Bishop Preston Wilks will be held in the Division Street chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Friday at noon.
