Quincy Manor Apartments burn

QUINCY — Firefighters responded to a fire late Wednesday at the Quincy Manor Apartments on Third Avenue, in Quincy.

Kyle Foreman, public information officer with Grant County Emergency Management, spoke as firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze, saying there were no reported injuries.

Efforts continued into late Wednesday night to extinguish hot spots to prevent the fire from restarting.

Firefighters from the Grant County Fire District 3, Ephrata Fire Department and Grant County Fire District 13 combined efforts to battle the fire.

Further information was unavailable before the Columbia Basin Herald deadline.

The Grant County Fire Marshal’s Office is expected to investigate the fire and determine a cause.
