Rose Johnston

Rose Johnston went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 8, 2009, at the age of 63 after a long fought battle with ovarian cancer.

Her life was the example of kindness and graciousness. She was soft spoken, giving and loved her family deeply.

Rose is survived by her husband of twenty years, Lloyd Johnston, daughter and son-in-law Rhonda and Jim Fischer, grandchildren Allison and Micah Fischer, Katie and Matt Johnston, siblings, Bill Ray, Dewey Ray, Frank Ray and Barbara Termini. When she married Lloyd Johnston, she inherited eight loving daughter, LaVonne and Rich Kennedy, LaVerne and Jim Stillwell, LaRaine Rosenow, Kathy and Rick Light, Gayle and Joe Varney, Ruby Johnston and Rhonda all of Moses Lake, Linda Galyan of California, and Merry Kay Allen of Illinois.

A memorial service will be held at First Covenant Church, 212 S. Division in Spokane, on Wednesday, December 16, at 11 a.m. Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Spokane, 121 S. Arthur, P.O. Box 2215, Spokane, WA 99210.
