SCHOOLS

In the spring, Frontier Middle School has a fundraiser which benefits activities.

It is a jog-a-thon/running laps at Lion’s Field. I’m sure they managed to raise quite a bit of money.

The top person in running laps – plus the individuals from each grade – are given prizes, the top prize being an evening in Spokane for dinner and attending a women’s Gonzaga basketball game. (I believe there are quit a few kids going, exact number I don’t know). They are going with staff members. (Mrs. Santos being one). They are going Friday, Dec. 11.

Frontier is a great school with a lot of great teachers and staff.

It’s a happy place. My granddaughter Jessie Green loves going to school each day. So do all her friends.

They have school dances, with certain requirements of each student if they want to attend.

It seems as though it would be nice to have a positive thing regarding middle schools and I truly think Frontier would be the place to start.
