Janice Mary (Turcotte) Foltz

Janice Mary (Turcotte) Foltz went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 1, 2009.

She was born August 17, 1943, in Harvey, N.D., the daughter of Omer J. and Doris A. Turcotte. On August 31, 1960, she married Sheridan K. Foltz (Ken) in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

She is survived by her husband, Ken, sons, Gordon Elbert Foltz II and Michael Reed Foltz, grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Belisle, Reno Foltz, Torri Foltz, Mikkael Rae Foltz, and Conner James-Lee Foltz; and great-greanddaughter Torrie Ray Shaw. Janice was the eldest of 12 children. Surviving siblings include Joann Schlomer, Carol Hart, Richard Turcotte, Linda McNeely, Larry Turcotte, Beverly Hastings, Laura Turcotte Chase, Donald Turcotte, John Turcotte, and Alice Brooks. She is also survived by many well loved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Janice was a long time resident of Pasco, WA, where she worked and eventually retired from the Pasco Post Office. She loved spending time with her family, playing with her grandchildren, visiting with friends and relatives, and crocheting afghans. She spent many hours researching and building a family history album which she presented to all her siblings.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 3 at 1:30 p.m. at Mueller’s Tri-CIties Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union, Kennewick, WA, with viewing at 10 a.m. Interment followed at Desert Law Memorial Park.
