MOSES LAKE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY
On Friday, Nov. 27, a message was published within the Moses Lake Christian Academy paid advertisement section that inaccurately portrays the feelings and beliefs of MLCA towards the Public School District.
Last week’s message was a story of one mother’s choice for her daughter. Unfortunately, due to deadline issues, the message was submitted by a volunteer and was not approved by staff, administration, or the Board of Directors at MLCA prior to its publication. This significant oversight has caused hurt and conveyed ill will which is in no way endorsed by MLCA, and we are truly sorry. There are many stories that could be told from a different perspective. Having educational alternatives in Moses Lake avails parents the opportunity to make decisions that are best for their children.
We at Moses Lake Christian Academy are grateful for the relationships we have enjoyed throughout the public school system and have found the administration and teachers of Moses Lake School District dedicated to providing the very best education for each student. MLCA students have enjoyed participating in several public school programs— from sports, to drama, to academic courses. Our goal is to compliment the existing systems and to provide Christ-centered educational alternatives to families.
The administration of Moses Lake Christian Academy supports our public school system, and we want to be a positive influence, not only in Grant County, but to other schools (whether public or private) as well.
