| December 3, 2009 8:00 PM

MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake police are looking for the man who attempted to rob the Golden Corral restaurant in Moses Lake on North Stratford Road, Tuesday afternoon.

At about 4 p.m., an unidentified male entered the restaurant and demanded money from the employees working at the register, Police Capt. Dave Ruffin said Wednesday. The clerks refused and the man fled the business.

He was not given any money and there were no injuries, he said.

Ruffin said the clerks assumed he may have been armed with a small handgun but a weapon was not revealed to them.

The suspect is described as a white male, unshaven, blonde hair and is in his mid-20s to mid-30s. He was wearing a light colored baseball cap, red zip-up sweatshirt with a hood and white basketball shorts.

The suspect was last seen fleeing toward Central Drive.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Moses Lake Police Department at 509-766-9230.
