Dorothy J. Kimball

| December 3, 2009 8:00 PM

Dorothy J. Kimball passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 1, 2009.

She was married to Robert Kimball and had two loving sisters; Lori Rossen and Ruth Wendell. For the past six months Dorothy was living at her son Mike and his wife Penny’s house while fighting a valiant battle against Parkinson’s Disease and Lewy Body Dementia. Although she lost this battle, she was happy and very content in the final months of her life.

Dorothy’s accomplishments were many and although she loved painting, stained glass, cake decorating and Jazzercise; the true love of her life was her family. Her daughter Lori (Steve), and her son Mike (Penny), her grandsons Robert (Stacy), Curtis (Tilly) and Ryan (Michelle) and the greatest joy in her life her great-granddaughters Amree (12), Ali (8), Kandace (9), Makenna (8), and Paige (2).

Dorothy will be missed greatly by her family and many friends. A private internment service will be held with her family. Dorothy’s family would like to thank Hospice, without their help we would not have been able to keep Dorothy at home as she wished. Donations may be made in Dorothy’s name to Hospice or to Moses Lake Museum and Art Center.
