MOSES LAKE — After working for Farmers Insurance Group in Wenatchee for about a year, Angie Friedbauer was encouraged by her district manager to open a Moses Lake office.

She took her boss’s advice and recently did so.

Friedbauer now has an office at 206B W. Broadway Ave.

“He gave me the push to do it,” she recalled. “My district manager was telling me another agent is needed in Moses Lake.”

Friedbauer is a 1989 Moses Lake High School graduate and lived in Moses Lake for the past 10 years.

“It is a growing area,” she noted. “I’m hoping it’s going to continue to grow. It’s grown so much since I went to school. There’s so many new faces and new people.”

Her new office opened during the first week of August. She probably won’t add more agents for a couple of years, but does have the space to do so.

In the next six months to a year, she’s hoping to hire a contact manager to set appointments.

“I just hope to grow my business as much as I can,” she commented.

Her previous work experience also includes working for manufactured home and finance companies.

Friedbauer’s office is the fourth Farmer’s Insurance Group location in Moses Lake, she said. Her business provides auto, home, life and business insurance.

She is married to Michael Friedbauer, a Moses Lake School District employee. They have five children.
