ELLENSBURG, Wash. — Moses Lake wrestlers returned from the Camp of Champions wrestling camp at Central Washington University (CWU) in Ellensburg, Wash., last month with a camp championship.

Moses Lake head coach Jamie Wise and assistant coaches Kip Jones and Javier Valdez took the group of wrestlers to the CWU camp.

The week-long camp focused on wrestling techniques and included dual meets and individual tournament formats.

Teams from Washington, Oregon, Montana and Wyoming competed and Moses Lake knocked off Deer Park, Wash., in the camp finals to finish the tournament 12-0 on their way to the championship.

Moses Lake also returned with two individual tournament champions. Brian Chamberlain and Beau Gleeb each won titles in their respective weight classes.
