Two vehicles collide head-on in Othello
OTHELLO — Three Othello residents were involved in a two-vehicle collision on state Route 24 in Othello Wednesday night.
Domitilo M. Galvez, 23, Othello, was cited for DUI and driving over the center line, the Washington State Patrol reported Thursday.
Galvez was traveling westbound on the highway in a 1990 Honda Accord, the state patrol reported. He allegedly crossed the center line and struck an oncoming 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier in the eastbound lane.
He reportedly had facial cuts and shoulder pain but refused medical aid.
Diego D. Gonzalez Contreras, 20, was the driver of the Chevrolet Cavalier. He was transported to Othello Community Hospital for treatment of possible knee, shoulder and head pain.
Passenger Angel Espinoza Batista, 21, was taken to Othello Community Hospital for treatment of possible head, pelvis, arm and thigh pain.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene.
