Francisco P. Estrada

Francisco P. Estrada, 70, longtime Moses Lake resident, died Thursday, August 6, 2009, in Samaritan Hospital.

Francisco was born October 4, 1938, in Piedras Negras, Coahila, Mexico to Rodolfo S. and Consuelo (Martinez) Estrada.

Francisco and Maria Guadalupe Segura were married on New Year’s Day, January 1, 1958, in Crystal City, Texas. Francisco was a longtime member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. He enjoyed traveling, dancing, spending time with his family and grandchildren, fishing with his sons, going to the casino, hunting, playing poker and shooting pool with his friends.

Francisco is survived by his beloved wife of more than 51 years Maria Estrada of Moses Lake, his children and their spouses Consuelo (Douglas) Bagdon of Nampa, ID, Francisco Jr. (Celeste) Estrada of Moses Lake, WA, Rudy (Yvette) Estrada, of Cheney, WA, Leticia (Javier) Almaguer of Kennewick, WA, Veronica (Edward) Gottschalk, of Kennewick, WA, Annabelle (Chris) Magnuson of Moses Lake, WA, half sister’s Guadalupe Estrada and Margarita Estrada both of Moses Lake, WA, 13 grandchildren and many friends.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2009, in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Felipe Pulido in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2009, with inurnment immediately following in Our Lady of Fatima Columbarium.
