William ('Bill') Clyde Boyd

Bill was born on February 15, 1949 to William Dwight Boyd and Ione (Betty) Tarbert in Spokane, WA. He passed away in Lincoln County on August 1, 2009.

Bill married Susan Henry on June 17, 1968 and they had two children; Lynnette (Kent) Nuss of Gresham, OR and Loren Boyd of Portland, OR. Bill had two grandchildren; Derek (16) and Karlee (11) Nuss. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, William and Betty Boyd and survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and three sisters: Sharon Clark of Medical Lake, WA, Dorthy (Alroy) Christensen of Loon Lake, WA, Jo (Bob) Huotari of Four Lakes, WA and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

He enjoyed reading, camping, traveling and spending time with his family. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 3:00 at the Chapel of Strate Funeral Home, Davenport, WA with Pastor Steve MacLachlan officiating. Memorials may be made in Bill’s honor to the donor’s choice.
