Susan Gail Ramos

Born Susan Gail Hickman to Helen and Gail Hickman on February 8, 1956 in Kennewick, WA. Graduated Big Bend College. Passed July 31, 2009 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center after a bravely fought battle with cancer.

Survived by her spouse, Alfonso Ramirez-Ramos, Pasco, WA, and three children, James R. LeBow, Hope LeBow, both Moses Lake, and Ashley Hickman, Pasco, WA, and her beloved grandchildren Kelsey, Lacey, Michael, Alexxa, Gabriella, Nelson and Avah.

Also survived by her brother and sister, Thomas E. Hickman and Pamela Hickman Bailey and sisters Glenda Mann, Joan Barton, Vicki Remick and Nicki Urban.

She was preceded in death by both her parents.

Susan loved her church family, including special friend Gina and Pastor Ryan. She had four spaces at the Moses Lake Community Gardens and got great peace and joy from communing in nature with her spouse and grandchildren. Her best times were spent simply with family. She loved cooking for them even when cancer kept her from eating. She will be missed beyond words.

A memorial service will be held at Moses Lake Assembly of God Church on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Ryan officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, if desired, to the American Cancer Society for colorectal cancer research.
