Angeline D. Liebing

Angeline D. Liebing went peacefully home to her heavenly father April 22, 2009. She was 91 years old and enjoyed a fruitful life.

Angeline was born in Benewah, Idaho, to Frank and Rosa Knopp, March 24, 1918. She moved with her family to Kennewick, Wash., and in her late teens, they moved to a farm between Marlin and Wilson Creek.

She married Alvin Liebing May 18, 1939. Shortly following their marriage, they moved and farmed for a few years, near Marion, N.D., where Richard, Stanley and Doris were born. In 1945, they moved back to, and farmed near Wilson Creek until her death. While farming in this area, the rest of her nine children were born: Lola, Viola, (twins), Carter, Bonnie, Joy and Bruce.

She has 24 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

Angeline is survived by her children: Richard ( Peggy) Liebing, Hawaii; Stanley (Lee) Liebing, Wenatchee, WA; Doris (Ken) Williams Sandpoint, Idaho; Viola (Bob) Freeman, Wilson Creek; Carter (Gay) Liebing, Pasco, Pasco; Bonnie Liebing, Wilson Creek; Joy (Steve) Pfister, Bend, Ore.; Bruce (Eileen) Liebing, Colville, Wash.; Son-in-law Roger (Donna) Blackman, Wilson Creek; her grandchildren; and brothers Wayne, Melvin, and Jesse; and sisters Clara Harris and Fern Harris.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; daughter, Lola (Liebing) Blackman; parents Frank and Rosa Knopp; brothers Marvin, Raymond, Ralph and Lawrence; and two sisters Lucille Harris, and Estella Knopp.

Grave side services will be held at 1 p.m., May 2, at the Wilson Creek cemetery.
