MOSES LAKE — A 29-year-old Moses Lake man was assaulted after a man entered his home intending to rob him Thursday afternoon.

The information was released from the Moses Lake Police Department Friday.

The suspect was attempting to rob the home but did not appear to steal anything, Moses Lake Police Chief Dean Mitchell said. The suspect fled toward Marina Drive.

The victim was transported to Samaritan Healthcare for treatment and was released the same day.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 6 foot 3 inches tall, slender, wearing a brown and black baseball cap, black jacket and blue jeans, police reported.
