An ordinance amending Chapter 3.18 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code entitled "Gambling Tax"

(This summary is published pursuant to RCW 35A. 12. 160. The full text of the ordinance will be mailed, without charge, to any person upon request.

The Moses Lake city Council adopted an ordinance which requires collection of interest on past due gambling taxes.

This ordinance, which was passed on September 23, 2008 will be in force five days after publication.

INVITATION TO BID

PORT OF MOSES LAKE

(Grant County Port District No. 10)

SEALED BIDS for the construction of one (1) package receiving/distribution facility to be located at the Port of Moses Lake. Sealed Bids will be received at the office of the Executive Manager, Port of Moses Lake, 7810 Andrews St. N.E. Suite 200, Moses Lake WA., (Owner) until 2:00 p.m. local time on October 13, 2008. Any bid received after the specified time will not be considered.

Bids will be publicly opened and read.

The project contemplated consists of furnishing all mobilized labor, tools and materials, building permits for the construction of a colored, all metal building located at the Port of Moses Lake, Moses Lake , WA.

Bidders are encouraged to make on site inspection of the work site prior to submitting a bid.

Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by a Bid Security, payable to the Owner in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid amount.

Bonafide bidders may obtain copies of the specification and drawing of the work required at the office of the Port of Moses Lake, 7810 Andrews St., N.E. Suite 200, Moses Lake, WA. 98837-3204.

The Board of Commissioners of the Port of Moses Lake shall be the sole judge of the bids and reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, waive technicalities or irregularities and to accept any proposal or option of bids, if such action is believed to be for the best interest of the Port of Moses Lake.
