Quincy police arrest three

Home not hit by vehicle

QUINCY - Three people were arrested after law enforcement served two search warrants at two Quincy residences Tuesday night.

Police were initially searching for drugs and weapons, Police Chief Bill Gonzales said Thursday. The search warrants were served at residences on I Street Southeast and M Street.

Jessie Blancas Jr., 25, Quincy, was booked for criminal conspiracy, riot, malicious mischief in the first degree, burglary in the first degree, assault in the first degree and aiming firearms, according to Grant County Jail records. Blancas is being held at Grant County Jail without bail.

Juan Carlos Guzman, 23, Quincy, was booked for criminal conspiracy, riot, malicious mischief in the first degree, burglary in the first degree, vehicle theft, assault in the first degree, aiming a firearm, possession of marijuana under 40 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia , according to jail records. He was held at the jail with no bail.

Anastasio Santia Guzman, 20, Quincy, was booked for minor in possession/consumption of alcohol. Santia Guzman was held on $500 bail.

The three suspects were arrested at the I Street Southeast residence.

Gonzales said there is more information about the incident but was unable to release it immediately. He said a police report detailing the incident would be completed Friday afternoon.

There was a previous report of a vehicle crashing into a house on M Street. He said a vehicle did not crash into a house.
