Tigers 11, Jacks 0

EPHRATA - The Lady Jacks of Quincy traveled to Ephrata Tuesday night to take on the Tigers in Central Washington Athletic Conference soccer action.

The Tigers defeated Quincy 11-0 and Ephrata head coach Hillary Coomes said the game was interesting.

Coomes used the game as an opportunity to play some of her players in positions they would not normally play.

"Sometime we get too narrow-minded in our play," Coomes said. "We need to use the width of the field to our advantage. We didn't want to run up the score. I wanted them to build up play, a lot of our scores came from that."

The Tigers scoring in the game was spread evenly throughout the team. Alex Youngberg, Emily Wallace and Jordyn Murray each scored two goals each.

Kamalpreet Jhutty scored the game's first goal in the seventh minutes from an assist from Justine Hintz.

Alex Youngberg scored her first goal of the game unassisted in the 17th minute.
