Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has released the Public Transportation Grant Application for July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2011. Applicants may access the grant forms and information at www/wsdot.wa.gov/transit. Agencies interested in submitting a grant application for WSDOT funding must first submit project descriptions (single hard copy by mail) by 4:00 p.m. October 15, 2008. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the MOSES LAKE CITY COUNCIL, at the Police/Council Facility located at 401 S. Balsam at 7:00 p.m. on October 14, 2008 to consider:

A request submitted by Odell Crittenden to amend the City of Moses Lake's Comprehensive Plan land use designation for portion of Parcel #170542000 and portion of Parcel #190681000 from industrial to medium density residential. The approximately 160 acres are located south of Road 4 east of East Broadway.

Any person wishing to file for or against the above mentioned request may be heard at the above stated time and place.
