Isidro C. Pruneda

Isidro C. Pruneda, 73, of Warden, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008.

He was bom May 15, 1935, in Repueblo de Oriente, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Tomas Pruneda Suarez and Augustina Campos Escamilla.

He married Roselia M. Pruneda on Jan. 23, 1960. He moved to Washington and made their family home in Warden. He loved to work in his shop and watch his children and grandchildren participate in all sports activities. He loved his family and respected each and every one of them and gave them all the love he had to give. Respect is what he taught his children and to love each other and most of all to love their mother. He will be dearly missed especially by his wife, children and family.

He is survived by is wife of 48 years and seven children: Marinela (Regino) Guerra, Emilio (Virginia) Pruneda, Isidro Jr. (Venessa) Pruneda, Tomas (Stacie) Pruneda, Doraelia (David) Garza, Doralicia (Jose+) Martinez, and Maricruz (Juan) Valdez. Fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild also grace the family.

Also surviving are his beloved sisters and brothers: Lina (Prudencio) Guerra, Raul (Manuela) Pruneda, Felipe (Angelina) Pruneda, and Isabel Pruneda.

Preceding Isidro in passing are his father and mother as well as a daughter, Marisela Pruneda; brothers, Santos Pruneda, Zenaido Pruneda, Cruz Pruneda; and a son-in-law, Jose Reyes Martinez, II.
