Jessica 'Jessie girl' Marie Neatrour-Kalles

| September 4, 2008 9:00 PM

Jessica “Jessie girl” Marie Neatrour-Kalles was Born Aug. 16, 1996, in Moses Lake. She was called home to be with her lord and savior on Aug. 24, 2008. She was barely 12 years old when a tragic accident took her life.

She lived her short life with her mother Julie Kalles and stepfather Joe Cunningham and her daddy Bill Kalles. She was baptized and attended regularly at Grace Harvest Church. She was to start 6th grade this year at Chief Moses Junior High.

“Jessie girl” was an avid reader. She enjoyed being creative and using her imagination. She dreamed of being a veterinarian when she grew up so she could help animals. Her most favorite things to do were going on the boat sailing and riding the motorcycle with her daddy. She was moms pride and joy, the center of her sisters world, but most of all she was daddy’s little girl.

Jessie girl was the most caring, unselfish, thoughtful little girl who loved to help anyone and does so even in death. Jessie gave the most precious of gifts to at least 25 people. She was an organ and tissue donor. Her spirit will forever live on, but she will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers Bill Price, Norm Johnson and grandmother Mary Yenter. She left behind her mother Julie Kalles and stepfather Joe Cunningham, her daddy Bill Kalles, her father William Neatrour, her big sister and brother-in-law Julie Emry and Andy Sheppard, brothers at heart; Daniel, Gorden and Jacob Andersen, grandparents; Sally Price, Libby Johnson, Mark Yenter, Susie McKinney, Lori Kalles, Denise and Jim Mathus, Linda and Roy Tado, Ernie Kalles, great-grandmother Kitty Willmorth, aunts and uncles; Mike and Jeanna Neatrour, Dan and Mary ellen Stevens, Etta and Jackie Nickelson, Shirley and Rey Pichardo, Lisa Wa, Jerry Fike, Larry Williams, Cheryl Stevens, Rebecca Macdonald, James Bailey and Danielle Mathina, Ron and Lynn Kalles, Jim Kalles, Jeri and Bud Humen, Randy McKinney, Kayce Edie, and many cousins and other family too numerous to list.

Her service will be held Sept. 6, at 2:58 p.m. (it’s a Jessie and Joe thing) at Grace Harvest Church.

She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
