Clayton A. Nash

Clayton A. Nash, 83, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Aug. 31, 2008. He was bom May 26, 1925, in Great Falls, Mont., to Earl Nash and Nina (Anderson) Nash.

Clayton graduated from Northwest Bible Institute in Seattle in 1945. He married Betty Irene (Driver) in 1945. After her death, he married Myrtle Peters in 1964. For many years he was an Assembly of God pastor and started home mission churches in Washington, Montana and Oregon. He helped in many church building projects, often with the SOWERS organization. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, wood working and deeply loved his family.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Myrtle Nash; daughter Phyllis (Mel) Kuch of Moses Lake; daughter Sherry (Kent) Marshall of Puyallup; son Ken Nash of Ephrata; and son Daniel (Cynthia) Nash of Vacaville, Calif. He has eight grandchildren: Carol, Ilene, Paul, Crystal, Jennifer, David, Danny and Kenny. He has seven great-grandchildren: Dallas, Donnie, Marcus, Kiauna, Angelo, Annabelle and Benjamin. He also has three great-great-grandchildren: Beverly, Ainsley and Michael.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nina and Earl Nash; his brothers Alvin, Donald, Marlin and Leonard Nash; and wife Betty.

The family would like to thank the staff that worked hard to make Clayton’s stay at Samaritan Hospital comfortable in his passing from here to heaven.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, Sept. 5, at 1 p.m. It will be held at the Moses Lake Alliance Church.
