Rose Allen

Rose Allen passed away at Sunbridge Care Center in Moses Lake on Aug. 28, 2008, at the age of 106 years.

She was born Dec. 6, 1901, in Ethan, S.D. Rose lived in Chewelah until 1994 when she moved to Moses Lake to be with her daughter and family. She was a lifetime member of St. Mary of the Rosary Catholic Church in Chewelah.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elmer, nine brothers and sisters, and a son-in-law, Francis Schumacher.

She is survived by her two daughters, Ann and Chuck Wilson of Moses Lake and Dona Schumacher of Auburn, six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass was held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Moses Lake on Saturday, Aug. 30. Internment will be scheduled for a later date at Chewelah Memorial Park in Chewelah.
