Devils sweep Cascade Christian
Wilson Creek to play MLCA for league title
WILSON CREEK - The Wilson Creek girls volleyball team capitalized on an overall balanced performance Tuesday night to defeat the Cascade Christian Wolverines at home.
The Lady Devils took three straight games from the Lady Wolverines to earn the victory and set up a pivotal match up with the Moses Lake Christian Academy Thursday night.
Wilson Creek won 25-15, 25-11 and 25-11.
After the match Wilson Creek head volleyball coach Mike Ottis said he was impressed with how well his team performed.
"We had one of the most balanced attacks we've had in a while," he said. "We had a pretty good little night with respect to balance."
Holly Wilson led the Lady Devils with 11 kills and Ksenje Fredere had nine kills. Kelsey Campbell and Brynna Stevens both had seven kills for Wilson Creek.
Campbell also led Wilson Creek with eight aces from the service line.
Wilson Creek next travels to Moses Lake to take on the Moses Lake Christian Lady Lions for control of the North Central Washington 1B volleyball league.
"We see Moses lake Christian Thursday to decide the league championship," he said.
