Francis Neil Plummer Jr., died Oct. 8, 2008, in Boise, Idaho.
Born in Paris, France on April 14, 1958, Frank (Frankie) enjoyed his youth in Moses Lake. He specialized in the food industry throughout his life. He started his work at the Porterhouse restaurant in Moses Lake and moved into the management position of several successive restaurant ventures. He then went on to become manager of the Moses Lake Golf and Country Club.
In 1987, he moved to Spokane. He worked with Food Services of America, which in turn took him across state lines into Boise, Idaho as the vice president of sales. While living in Boise, on April 8, 2001, Frank married his true love and best friend, Carrie Link. They moved to Sebastopol, Calif., where he became the vice-president of sales and marketing for the Ritz Food Service Company.
Frank currently resided between two homes in Sebastopol, Calif., and Boise, Idaho, where he successfully attained his lifetime dream of owning and managing his own restaurant, “Le Poulet Rouge.” He was an accomplished chef, loved flying and enjoyed playing a good game of golf. Frank was a supportive son, faithful husband, loving father, understanding brother, and trustworthy friend. He took on life’s challenges without hesitation. He was a great mentor and motivator to all. He lived a life of honesty and laughter, and his life was filled with lasting friendships. He was admired, cherished, and always brought a smile to those around him … may his smile forever live in our hearts.
