Eastmont slides past Moses Lake Chiefs

MOSES LAKE - The Moses Lake High School girls swimming team could not hold off Eastmont Tuesday afternoon as the Chiefs fell to 7-2 this season.
Eastmont distanced themselves from Moses Lake 103-82 to earn the league victory.
The loss drops the Chiefs into a third-place tie in the Columbia Basin League.
Moses Lake and Eastmont split the 12 events, head coach Tony St. Onge said.
"We won six events and Eastmont won six events," he said. "It just came down to Eastmont having too much depth."
While Eastmont came away with the 21-point victory, St. Onge said both teams competed evenly.
"There were a lot of closely contested races during the meet," he said.
Individual winners for Moses Lake include Megan Schuh in the 200-yard Individual Medley and 500-yard freestyle. Courtney Schweisow came away with the victory in the 100-yard Freestyle and Hannah Grigg won the 100-yard Butterfly.
