Moses Lake Firemen's Breakfast is Saturday

MOSES LAKE — The annual Firemen’s Breakfast at the Moses Lake Fire Department is Saturday from 5 a.m. to noon.

Firefighters and emergency medical technicians are serving an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast to raise funds for department activities. The breakfast is complete with pancakes, ham, eggs, hash browns and a beverage.

The event has taken place for more than 15 years.

The suggested donation is $5 per person and $15 per family.

The funds are used to support various department projects, the annual award banquet and fire prevention educational supplies.

During the event people can tour the fire department, view equipment and participate in a silent auction.

Last year approximately $5,500 was raised at the event.

The fire department is located at 701 E. Third Ave. in Moses Lake.

The breakfast is served where emergency response equipment is generally kept and the equipment can be viewed by the public during the gathering.
